Richard L. Stockton is very active in estate planning and taxation and has significant experience and proficiency in post-mortem and generation-skipping planning. He has written and lectured on various estate planning topics, including several chapters in Estate and Personal Financial Planning published by West-Thompson Publishing Company.  

Rick earned his B.A. degree, with high honors, in 1971 from Princeton University and his J.D. degree, with honors, in 1979 from the University of Florida. He served as an aircrew member for five years in the United States Air Force and for four additional years in the United States Air Force Reserve.

Rick is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, and  holds the highest rating assigned by Martindale-Hubbell.  He is a member of the Florida Bar's Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section and Tax Section.  Rick has been a member of the Certification Committee for Wills, Trusts, and Estates of the Florida Bar.
